International Flower Auction Bangalore (IFAB) Limited is a joint venture company of public and private shareholders established during 2002 to strike the potential of both export and domestic flower market. It is the only flower auction centre in India which is running successfully. Here, high quality cut flowers of various flower crops are auctioned every day and it creates a platform for both sellers and buyers to earn great profits.

Here, the major advantage received by growers is timely assured payment on every 8th day and all the transaction is digital with the system being transparent and accountable.

How We Started

In the beginning, the IFAB was a very small venture, in which it started auctioning business in a small rented building with few growers and buyers. However, with its dedicated efforts and support of Central and State Governments, the organization has grown up in many more folds, facilitating a large number of growers and buyers. At present daily average volume of flowers auctioned in IFAB has gone up from 20,000 to 2.5 lakh.

We bring supply and demand together, for an optimal price and the lowest transaction costs, offer a wide range of services, and work intensively together with new and existing partners in the horticultural sector. That is how we supply the world with fresh flowers for 365 days. Together we are Growing strong! That is the notion upon which International Flower Auction Bangalore Ltd is based. Growers come together to the same place to sell their products. Together, they are stronger in the face of traders and get a better price for their flowers.

Flowers are sent to different part of INDIA like New Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala on regular basis. Few of our registered buyers export cut roses from IFAB to countries like Bangladesh, Dubai, Malaysia, Qatar, Japan and Australia mainly during demanded seasons like Christmas, New year and Valentine days.

Apart from auctioning of cut flowers, training to growers, buyers and self-help groups is given at IFAB training centre regarding cultivation aspects, pest and disease management, post-harvest management, value added products and entrepreneurship development programmes.

IFAB believes in sustainable model with installation of rooftop solar and rain water harvesting.

We have a facility of 7 cold rooms with a storing capacity of 8 to 9 lakh cut flowers in total at a time.

Our Mission

The IFAB is a floriculture hub in India. The floral studio will enhance the floriculture business both at domestic and international markets by showcasing all available avenues. On the other hand, the training center is creating awareness of flower production technology, marketing /export skills, by conducting training programs, seminars, workshops, conferences, etc,

The Owner

With more than a decade’s experience at the forefront of floral design, Fiola Johnson is one of London’s most respected florists. Having trained under the iconic Jane Packer, she later worked for some of London most prestigious florists on luxury events and celebrity weddings. In 2008 she founded Fiore to reflect her own intimate and artistic approach. Born and raised in London, Marianne has always loved the city’s relentless pace and creativity, something that’s an endless source of inspiration to her. Yet she also craves the peace and natural beauty of the great outdoors. It’s this balance, between the vibrancy of the city and the beauty of the natural world that defines Fiola’s own individual style.

Drawing on her love of colour and texture, she combines romance and wildness in rich, generous compositions that are both thoughtful and unexpected. Her studio and shops are havens from the urban jungle; like calm oases in the midst of the metropolis. They are bursting with full blooms, hanging plants and potted trees. It’s in these green and peaceful spaces that Marianne and her team create their designs, inspired by the city just outside.
